This etching was featured in a retrospective of the artist's work at the El Paso Museum of History in March of 2020, but this piece differs slightly from the version presented as the artist has hand painted in three additional cats and made other changes in this edition made for specifically Mr. I assume the names in the inscription are the cats. The etching plate measures approximately 12" x 18" and the print sheet is approximately 15. The etching is in excelent condition with no toning or foxing.
The are a couple of smudges on the edges of the print sheet, but these would not be visible once the etching is matted and framed. There is some residual tape on the back edges where the print sheet was affixed to a mat, but this has had no impact on the etching or the front of the print sheet. This is the actual piece you will receive so please look at all of the photos and ask any questions before purchasing.
